HMX Egg Yolk is a linear switch developed in collaboration with KK Lab, designed for users who prefer a clean, clacky sound profile and an exceptionally smooth typing experience. It features HMX's new Hybrid Molding technology, which allows different materials to be used for the bottom housing and the stem pole, resulting in a distinctive sound signature and excellent rigidity.
The bottom housing, made from PA66 with 10% fiberglass, combined with the S1 material stem pole, delivers a well-defined, poppy sound and a balanced feel with every keystroke. The factory-applied lubrication ensures an ultra-smooth keypress while preserving the clarity and acoustic character that HMX switches are known for.
